COMING UP SUNDAY-AUG. 31

This is the 12th Sunday after Pentecost-Proper 17. The service is at 9 am, followed by coffee hour. If you can't come in person, the worship service is live streamed and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here. This year we are using Track 2 of the Scripture readings. 

During the month of August we are collecting peanut butter and jelly to donate to RICAN (of course any food item is welcome!).In September, the food of the month will be canned soups.

This Sunday, August 31, we will welcome a special guest organist.  Mr. Pace Willisson will be in town on vacation and has offered to play for our Sunday morning service. When not on vacation, he serves as the orgainist at Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Cambridge, MA. He was here last summer and has graciously offered to play again for us this year.

What do you think about angels?  Scripture tells us that they are guardians, defenders, messengers, and probably more present than we think.   On Sunday, Sept. 21 we will have a coffee hour video, titled, Meditating on Angels.  All are welcome!

There will be a parish luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 12 noon at the Wood River Golf Course. All are welcome! Send us a message if you would like to attend.
