WHO WE ARE
  • We are Episcopalians. We believe that the foundation of our faith is based on Scripture, the tradition of the church, and human reason.
  • Our congregation is open and affirming of people from all walks of life
  • The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is central in our lives. We appreciate both the joy and the mystery of the liturgy.
  • Sunday school meets during the school year for children ages 3-13.
  • Babies and children in church enrich our worship experience.
  • Coffee hour is held each week after the service and is an extension of the communion and fellowship that is shared during the liturgy. 
  • Tuesday Tutoring meets each week providing academic support for middle and high school students.
  • We have 17 military veterans in our congregation and we support all veterans in our area.
  • Once a month we prepare and serve a meal at the WARM Center in Westerly.
  • Our congregation generously supports Episcopal Charities of Rhode Island.
  • Every year we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring.
  • Each week we collect food for RICAN in Charlestown and the WARM Center.
  • We collaborate with nearby Episcopal churches and advocate small church ministry.
  • We work with the Chariho Taskforce to address issues of substance abuse in our community.
  • Twice a month, Strong Arms Support Group meets in the parish hall to help families who have loved ones struggling with addiction.
  • At Christmas we provide gifts to local families in need.
  • Two Chariho Girl Scout Troops regularly meet in our parish hall
  • Clients from Perspectives group homes meet at the church weekly for fun activities
  • Bible study groups, prayer meetings and book discussions meet at various times in the church year
