COMING UP SUNDAY- DEC. 17

This is the 3rd Sunday of Advent, also known as Gaudete Sunday.  Gaudete, which means "rejoice" in Latin.  The Scripture readings encourage the theme of rejoicing, for the day of the Lord is near.  The pink color symbolizes the joy of the day.
The WARM meal will be prepared this week.  The church school class will decorate cupcakes to deliver with the WARM meal.
The congregation filled up 2 big bags of gifts for some children in our community.  Thanks to all who donated.  Some photos are posted on our Facebook page (you can see them on the lower right side of this page).
