Alleluia- Christ is Risen!!! We had a wonderful Holy Week that culminated with an Easter Vigil and an Easter Sunday service. There was 1 baptism on Saturday night and on Sunday morning the church was packed. The Easter season continues until the Day of Pentecost-June 12. The Paschal Candle will burn and our altar hangings will be white throughout this season.
This Sunday, May 1, we will have another baptism. It is also preschool Sunday and there will be a church school class for toddlers as well as the older students.
