This is the 4th Sunday after Epiphany. Church school will meet. This is the week for the Souper Bowl of Caring!!! In 2018, Americans spent $15 billion on food and entertainment related to the Super Bowl. As a way to show our support for those in need, parishioners at St. Thomas' will be asked to put $1 in a soup pot which we will donate to Church Beyond the Walls- a worship and outreach ministry held at Burnside Park in Providence.
Last Sunday was our annual parish meeting! We reviewed our accomplishments and goals for 2018 and we voted on a new budget and set new goals for 2019 (see tab at top of page). We will continue to do God's work and share God's love in our community.

COMING UP SUNDAY- JAN. 6
This is the Feast of Epiphany. It marks the end of the 12 days of Christmas. The word Epiphany means manifestation and during this season (which lasts until Lent), the Scripture readings remind us of the many ways in which Jesus was manifested to the world.
There is no church school this week. There will be a 3 Kings Party during coffee hour to celebrate the three magi who came to visit baby Jesus in Bethlehem (Matt. 2:1-12). All are welcome!
