NO IN-PERSON SERVICE JAN. 30

Due to the snowstorm, the in-person service this week is cancelled. There will be short service on Zoom for those who would like to join in. Send a message to the church email if you want the Zoom link. The Scripture readings for the day can be found here.
The annual parish meeting is postponed until next Sunday, Feb. 6.

COMING UP SUNDAY-JAN.30

Wednesday, Feb. 2, is the feast day known as Candlemas. It is also Groundhog Day!  Read the tab at the top of the page to see how these two days are related.
The Souper Bowl of Caring will be held on Sunday, Feb. 13. Bring a food item or a $1 to put in our soup pot.  Read about it in the column on the right.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday which is March 2. Would you like to have a prayer partner in Lent? Prayer partners pray for each other (daily, weekly or whatever is good for you).  You can also exchange notes or emails or texts.  There are no rules, it is just a way to support one another in this challenging season. If you want to participate, send the us an email.

COMING UP SUNDAY-JAN.16

This is the week that we collect items for the WARM Center guests. The things needed include:small water bottles, juice boxes, individual packages of cookies and crackers.  These items can be left at the church by Sunday. 
The Grab and Go bags for the church youth are available.  Since church school is not meeting right now, these bags have lessons and activities in them. The theme this time is "Epiphany-where is God showing up?" Send us a message if you would like one delivered to you.

COMING UP SUNDAY-JAN. 9

This is the 1st Sunday after Epiphany-also celebrated as the feast of Jesus' baptism. The vestry will meet this Sunday after the service. It will be online and in-person

Since church school is still on hold for the moment, the "Grab and Go" bags for the Epiphany season will be available this Sunday. If you would like one delivered, send a message.
