COMING UP SUNDAY-NOV. 2 ALL SAINTS' SUNDAY

This is the All Saints' Sunday! It is one of the 7 principal feasts in the Episcopal Church calendar.  Read about it here. As part of the liturgy, we will remember our loved ones who have died. The worship service is streamed at 9 am and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday night.

Next Sunday, Nov. 9, is our annual Veterans Day celebration. All vets and active duty military are welcome to join us. The service  is at 9am, followed by a special coffee hour reception.

If you know of someone in need of emergency food, visit the Caring Closet located in our church parking lot. It contains a few basic food items.  Take what you need and leave food if you can.

COMING UP SUNDAY-OCT. 26

This is the 20th Sunday after Pentecost-Proper 25. The service is at 9 am, followed by coffee hour. If you can't come in person, the worship service is live streamed and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. This year we are using Track 2 of the Scripture readings. The sermon this week is part of a series entitled, Jesus was an Episcopalian (and you can be one, too) based on a book of the same title by the Rev. Chris Yaw. 

During the month of October we are collecting personal care items to donate to RICAN (of course any food item is welcome!).

The annual Convention of the Diocese will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Park Theatre in Cranston. Each church sends its elected delegates, as well as their ordained clergy members who are the voting members of Convention. The event will be live streamed and you can watch it here. The Eucharist begins at 8:30 and the business meeting begins at 9:30 am.
