The season of Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for the Lord. Read about it on the tab on this page. A list of all of the Advent activites at St. Thomas' can be found here.

This year we will again collect new socks and underwear for the guests at the WARM Center. Bring them to church. We also will collect food items for RICAN-this month it is canned beans.

On Sunday, Dec. 7, we will make Christmas wreaths and centerpieces during coffee hour. They are asking for a donation of $15 and all the money raised will be sent to our diocesan camp at ECC. If you want to order one, send a message to the church.

COMING UP SUNDAY-NOV. 23

This is the Last Sunday after Pentecost. The service is at 9 am. Stay for coffee hour if you can.  If you are not able to join us in person, the worship service is live streamed and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here.  Stewardship letters have been sent out this week. This letter describes the ongoing work about our church and looks to the future. If you would like a letter, send us a message.

During the month of November we are collecting canned tuna to donate to RICAN (of course any food item is welcome!). If you know of someone in need of emergency food, visit the Caring Closet located in our church parking lot. It contains a few basic food items.  Take what you need and leave food if you can.

This is the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost-Proper 28. The service is at 9 am. Stay for coffee hour if you can.  If you are not able to join us in person, the worship service is live streamed and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here. This year we are using Track 2 of the Scripture readings. The sermon this week is the last in a series entitled, Jesus was an Episcopalian (and you can be one, too) based on a book of the same title by the Rev. Chris Yaw. It is part of our confirmation preparation program. There will be a vestry meeting following the service.

This is the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost-Proper 27. The service is at 9 am. This Sunday is our annual Veterans Day celebration. There will be a special coffee hour reception to honor all veterans and active duty milatary personnel and all are invited.
