COMING UP SUNDAY-JAN. 4

Happy New Year!!

This is the 2nd Sunday after Christmas.   The worship service is at 9 am. It is also live streamed and can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here.  This week Bishop Knisley will visit St. Thomas' and confirm several of our young adults.  There will be a special coffee hour reception. All are welcome! 

This is the last week to bring in new socks and underwear for the guests at the WARM Center. until Jan. 4. Drop them off at church!

The annual parish meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 1 after the worship service. There will be a potluck brunch. This year there are important matters to discuss as we look to the future of our church. Everyone is encouraged to attend!

Our congregation is collecting new socks and underwear for the guests at the WARM Center. until Jan. 4. Drop them off at church!

On Sunday, Jan. 4, Bishop Knisely will join us at our 9 am service and will confirm 5 young adults. There will be a special coffee hour reception and discussion with the bishop. All are welcome. 

The annual parish meeting will be on Feb. 1 following the worship service. There will be a potluck brunch that day.

COMING UP SUNDAY-DEC. 21

December 21 is the feast day of our patron saint-St. ThomasPoor Thomas- he gets criticized after the resurrection for doubting that it happened. And then his feast day is celebrated on Dec. 21 when it is Advent and so close to Christmas. He often gets overlooked!  You can read about his life here

On Sunday, Jan. 4, Bishop Knisley will be at our 9 am service. He will lead the liturgy and confirm four of our teenagers. Be sure to come and support our young people and greet the bishop.

COMING UP SUNDAY-DEC. 7

This is the 2nd Sunday in Advent. The service is at 9 am. Stay for coffee hour if you can.  If you are not able to join us in person, the worship service is live streamed and it can be viewed live on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here.  

This Sunday we will make Christmas wreaths and centerpieces during coffee hour. We are asking for a donation of $15 and all the money raised will be sent to our diocesan camp at ECC. If you want to order one, send a message to the church.

This year we will again collect new socks and underwear for the guests at the WARM Center. Bring them to church. We also will collect food items for RICAN-this month it is canned beans.
