COMING UP APR. 4-EASTER DAY

This Sunday is EASTER day.  There will be a 9am online worship service. The link can be found here.  If you would like to attend the service in person, send an email to the address listed above under contact information.  Following the service, those who do not attend in person are invited to come to the parking lot at 10am to receive communion. 
The services for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday will be held at Christ Church in Westerly.  The link can be found here.

COMING UP MARCH 28-PALM SUNDAY

This week is Palm Sunday.  It observes the day of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem before his crucifixion. During the liturgy, palms are blessed and distributed and the Passion Gospel is read.  At St. Thomas', the 9am service will be live streamed and people may attend in person (mask wearing and social distancing are required).  Please send an email to the church if you would like to attend.  stthomasalton@gmail.com

COMING UP SUNDAY-MAR. 21

This is the 5th Sunday in Lent. There will be a 9am online worship service. The link can be found here.
It is exciting to know that many people in our congregation have already received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  Plans are being made to resume in person worship services within the coming weeks. Even when there is a congregation in the building, the service will continue to be live streamed for those who cannot make it on Sunday mornings.   Stay tuned for more details.

COMING UP SUNDAY-MAR. 14

This is the 4th Sunday in Lent-also known as mid-Lent Sunday, Rose Sunday or mothering Sunday (read more about it in the tab at the top of this page titled "All about Lent). There will be a 9am online worship service. The link can be found here.
This is the Sunday that items for the WARM Center meal are collected. They need small water bottles, juice boxes and individual serving packages of cookies and crackers.  Send a message to the church if you have items to donate.

There will be a vestry meeting this Sunday at 6:30 via Zoom. 

COMING UP SUNDAY-MAR. 7

This is the 3rd Sunday in Lent. There will be a 9am online service.  The Zoom link and handout are listed here.  On Wednesday evenings in Lent, there will be an online Compline (evening prayer) service at 7pm.  The service lasts for about 15 minutes and then there will be 15 minutes of fellowship time. Then at 7:30, those who are interested can stay for a short discussion about Psalm 19. For the next few Wednesdays in Lent, we will have a brief discussion about one Psalm each week.  All are welcome.
On Monday, Mar. 15, our congregation will supply the evening meal for the WARM Center in Westerly.  We are collection small water bottles, juice boxes, and individual packages of cookies and crackers.  Bring them to the church by Sunday the 14th.  Or send a message if you have a donation that you need picked up.
