COMING UP SUNDAY-OCT. 31

This is the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost.  And it is Halloween- also known as the eve before All Saints' Day.  Read all about it in the tab at the top of this page.  You are welcome to wear your costumes for the church service.  Sunday, Nov. 7 will be the celebration of All Saints' Sunday.

St. Thomas' is joining with St. Elizabeth's in Hope Valley to help out RICAN. They are collecting the following Thanksgiving foods: turkey gravy, boxed stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, cream of mushroom soup, crispy onions, canned green beans, canned corn, corn bread mix, pie filling.  Additionally, they are in need of any gently used coats.  If you can help with any of these things, bring them to the church by Nov. 7 and they will get

This Sunday, Bishop Knisely will join us for worship at 9am and for the celebration of confirmation. This is the 21st Sunday after Pentecost.  The vestry will meet after the worship service. This week we will also collect water bottles, juice boxes and snacks for the WARM Center meal.

Next Sunday, Oct. 24, Bishop Knisely will visit St. Thomas' and 2 people will be confirmed.

COMING UP SUNDAY-OCT. 10

 This is the 20th Sunday after Pentecost.  The vestry meeting this month will be on Oct. 17.  That is the same day that we will collect items for the WARM Center meal.
The Blessing of the Animals celebration last week was a wonderful event.  There were 33 humans, 12 dogs, 10 horses and 2 goats. Photos are available here.
