COMING UP SUNDAY-DEC. 15

Our congregation is collection new socks and underwear for the guests at the WARM Center. Drop them off at church!
This Sunday we will gather during coffee hour to talk about the book,  A Dog in the Manger by Tim Schenk and Jay Sidebothom.  If you didn't read the book, you can still join in and talk about some of your beloved Christmas traditions. Bring a favorite holiday treat to share at coffee hour.

COMING UP NOV. 3-ALL SAINTS' SUNDAY!

This is the All Saints' Sunday! It is one of the 7 principal feasts in the Episcopal Church calendar.  Read about it here. The Episcopal Diocese of RI held its annual Diocesan Convention last Saturday. You can read Bishop Knisley's address to Convention here
The new Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe, will be invested into his office on Sat., Nov. 2 at 11 am. You can watch it online here

This Sunday, Sept. 29, we will hold our annual Blessing of the Animals service at Sugarlandstables at 11 am. All animals, or stuffed animals are welcome. Or come alone and join in the festivities!  The stable is located at 28 Richmond Townhouse Road in Wyoming. Look for the red balloon at the end of the driveway.
Did you know that churches around the world recognize the month of September as the Season of Creation?  Youth are invited to pick up a Grab & Go bag at St. Thomas' that has some activities to help observe the gift of creation. 
As we move into October, there are several activities planned. A parish luncheon is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 14 at noon. Kids eat free! Send us a message if you can come.

When not on vacation, he serves as the orgainist at Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Cambridge, MA. He was here last summer and has graciously offered to play again for us this year.

The Feast of Pentecost is one of the major holidays in our church year. It is the day that the Holy Spirit descended on the followers of Jesus in the form of tongues of fire. That is why we wear red on this day!

This Sunday, our guest celebrant will be the Rev. Rich Schweinsburg.
Ascension Day is Thursday, May 9. There will be a 6 pm service followed by a hotdog, potluck dinner. We will watch bubbles ascend to heaven!  It is a great event for families and you will be home by 7:30.
During the Easter Season, some parishioners are reading through the Book of Psalms. For details, click here.

This Sunday, our guest speaker will  be Ms. Marisa Rainey. She is the camp and program director at our diocesan camp located at ECC in Pasoag. Come and learn about all of the new and exciting things going on at camp
Ascension Day is Thursday, May 9. There will be a 6 pm service followed by a hotdog, potluck dinner. We will watch bubbles ascend to heaven!  It is a great event for families and you will be home by 7:30.
During the Easter Season, some parishioners are reading through the Book of Psalms. For details, click here.
