This is the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 28). Church school will meet and there will be a liturgy committee meeting after church. The WARM meal will be prepared this week.
Last Sunday we had a celebratory gathering at coffee hour to honor our veterans. There were 12 veterans present. The Providence Journal took lots of pictures and published a wonderful tribute on Veterans' Day. You can read the article by clicking here. Many thanks to that newspaper for taking the time to honor our veterans.
Confirmation class will meet next Sunday, Nov. 23 after church. Anyone wishing to be received or confirmed in the Episcopal Church is welcome to attend.
During Advent, our book study will be selections from the Austrian poet, Rainer Maria Rilke, He published a series of poems entitled, Love Poems to God. More information to come next week.
