This is the Feast of Pentecost! And it is Memorial Day Weekend! The worship service is at 9 am. It is also live streamed and can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook. Find the links here. Stay for coffee hour if you can! This is one of the major holidays in our church year. It is the day that the Holy Spirit descended on the followers of Jesus in the form of tongues of fire. That is why we wear red on this day!
We had a wonderful celebration on Ascention Day. Check out some photos here.
Looking ahead-on Sunday, June 7, our resident art historian will speak to us about the 16th century painting by Caravaggio titled, The Calling of Saint Matthew. The Gospel lesson for this day includes the moment that Jesus picked Matthew to be a disciple.
In July, we will read the Book of Revelation together! On 3 Thursdays, we will gather for a discussion and end with Compline. Details to follow.
