COMING UP SUNDAY- SEPT. 30

This is the 19th Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 21).  Church school will meet.
This Sunday at 1:30, there will be a Blessing of the Animals service in the church parking lot.  Last year we had dogs, horses, goats and humans.  All are welcome- and if you don't have a pet to bring, you can bring your favorite stuffed animal.  The Blessing of the Animals is a celebration done near the beginning of October to celebrate St. Francis of Assisi whose feast day is Oct. 4.  Francis was a compassionate, loving Christian from the 13th century who loved animals.  To learn more, click the tab at the top of this page.
