ASCENSION DAY

Thursday, May 17 is Ascension Day.  This is a major feast day in the Episcopal Church. We will have a short service at 6pm followed by a potluck, hotdog dinner.  We will provide the hotdogs, you bring a dish to share and a chair for our outside picnic.  We will release red, environmentally friendly, balloons into the air as a symbol of Jesus' ascension into heaven 40 days after Easter.
