This is the 4th Sunday of Advent and it is also the Feast of St. Thomas. At the Sunday liturgy this week, there will be a combined celebration of these two. Church school will meet. The sermon will address the life of St. Thomas. Coffee hour will include traditional foods historically eaten on this day. And there will be a sharing of customs surrounding the feast-such as why you might be a Thomas Donkey. Unmarried, young women can find out how to find a husband on this day.
