This is the 4th Sunday of Easter. Church school will meet. This Sunday is the WARM Bowl-a-thon. It will be held at Alley Katz Lanes in Westerly from 1-3pm. St. Thomas' is sponsoring a team- the Tom Katz! Monetary donations will be accepted as well as donations for the basket we are making for the basket raffle- it is a gardening theme.
On Sunday, May 3, The Rev. Christine Burton will be the guest preacher. She is a deacon in our diocese who serves at St. Elizabeth's in Hope Valley. Christine grew up in Wood River Junction- in the house across the street from St. Thomas'!!! She will talk about St. Mary's Home for Children in North Providence. This agency receives money from Episcopal Charities. May 3 will be the last day to make a pledge or donation for Episcopal Charities at church.
