This Sunday is the Super Bowl and it is the Souper Bowl of Caring. It is predicted that this year Americans will spend around $13billion on food, drink and fun on Super Bowl Sunday. The Souper Bowl of Caring asks people to donate to food pantries and feeding programs to help hungry Americans on this day. This year, St. Thomas' has been collecting food and money for the WARM Center in Westerly.
Ash Wednesday is Feb.17. Since ashes cannot be distributed this year, St. Thomas' is making blessed Ashes in a Bag available to anyone who wants them. Contact the church to request some ashes.
