This Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost! In the Book of Acts (2:1-21), it says that on the 50th day after Easter, the Holy Spirit descended on the followers of Jesus and appeared as tongues of fire. On this day, people often wear red to church to symbolize that fire. The worship service is live streamed at 9 am and it can be viewed on Facebook or on YouTube. Find the links here. It can also be watched at a later time in both places. Coffee hour follows the service.
The audit committee will meet following the worship service.
There will be a youth event for children and families at the church the afternoon of June 5. Send us a message if you would like more details.
On Saturday, June 18, we will meet at the church at 10am for a community hike to visit the grave of the Rev. Daniel Davis and his family. This is a joint event with the Chariho Youth Task Force and the Richmond Historical Society. Read about it in the column on the right. All are welcome.
