This is All Saints' Day! It is one of the 7 principal feasts in the Episcopal Church calendar and closely connected to our celebration of Halloween.  Read about it here. In our denomination, there is an ongoing clergy shortage. It is important to have trained people who can lead worship when no priest is available. Learn all about it!

The Episcopal Church, and other Christian denominations around the world, observe a Season of Creation from Sept.1-Oct. 4 (this date is the feast of St. Francis-the lover of creation). During these weeks we will have a special prayer for our planet as part of the liturgy. Read more about it here. Our diocese also has information on its website here.

The Rhode Island Council of Churches is asking churches across the state to ring their bells at 12 noon on Sept. 11 to mark the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of that day. St. Thomas' will participate. You can read more about this initiative here.

He will be in town for the Rhythm and Roots concert and has offered to play for us.
