This is the 18th Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 23). There will be no church school this week due to the Columbus Day Holiday.
Last Sunday we celebrated St;. Francis with a Blessing of the Animals service. There were 5 animal creatures and 11 human creatures who came together to honor St. Francis. The photos can be viewed by going to the Facebook link for the church-on the right of this page.
In the coming weeks there will be an Oktoberfest and Hymn Sing at St. Elizabeth's in Hope Valley from 5-7pm. All are welcome.
Baptisms will be celebrated on All Saints' Sunday- November 2. Contact the vicar if you are interested.
Our annual Veterans' Day celebration will take place on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 9am followed by a reception at 10am. All veterans and their families and friends are welcome.
