This past Monday, St. Thomas' donated snacks, drinks and sandwich meats for bag meals to be distributed to WARM Center guests. Thanks to Dunns Corner Market and the parishioners at St. Elizabeth's for their help with the project this month.
This Thursday, May 21, is Ascension Day. Normally at St. Thomas', we would celebrate with at worship service at 6pm, followed by a potluck, hotdog dinner. This year, we will pray at home and remember the day that Jesus ascended into heaven- 40 days after Easter. The Scripture lessons for the day can be found here.
Our Bishop and his team are writing guidelines for Episcopal churches in this diocese that will help as churches begin the re-opening phase in Rhode Island. Stay tuned for updates!
The vestry at St. Thomas' has been working to keep its budget on track, even in the midst of the pandemic. Donations can be made by sending a check to the PO Box address in the Contact tab above, or by using PayPal (see right column).
