JUNE 3- CONGREGATIONAL UPDATE

The Church across the globe celebrated Pentecost last Sunday in the midst of a pandemic and as this country struggles with injustices and violence across the land.  Pentecost, and the reality of the Trinity of God (which the Church celebrates this Sunday), remind us that God and the power of the Holy Spirit, and the love of Christ, need to be the foundation of life.  Michael Curry, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, has been in the news several times this past week.  His message is always the same- Love God, love neighbor.  This is the only way to move forward when the challenges of life start to overwhelm us.  Bishop Curry's words can be found here.
